Meet Charlie. 
Domestic Short Haired Ginger Neutered Tomcat
Charlie arrived at our Benton North Farm shelter in June 2010
He was extremely under weight and after veterinary examination it was found that he had an overactive thyroid which required surgery. During the operation to remove his thyroid gland vets also found that he had a pellet embedded close to his shoulder blade. This was removed and fortunately had caused minimal damage, although it is uncertain as to how long it had been there. Charlie has been recuperating in the care of one of our volunteers so is now fully recovered and looking for a special new home.
He is a gorgeous boy with a laid back attitude. 

Although he was shy and nervous when he first came in, his confidence has grown and he has become quite independent. Charlie is an extremely affectionate cat with a fun personality.

We are pleased to inform you that Charlie has found a loving new home. We wish him all the best with his new family.
