Join Team Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter at the 2025 Great North Run!
At an early bird rate, secure your place for only £50. Registration will cost £55 from February onwards.
We ask that each runner aims to raise a minimum of £275 through fundraising and sponsorship to support us in helping dogs and cats across the North East find their loving forever families.
In return for your dedication to the Shelter you will receive:
- A Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter running t-shirt or vest to wear on the big day to keep you cool and comfortable and help you look the part
- An information pack with fundraising ideas to help you reach your target, and support from our Community Fundraising Officer to help you reach your target
- The option to purchase a commemorative hoodie for £10, to be collected at the end of the run, to keep you warm and comfortable on your journey home and to keep as a reminder of your incredible achievement
- The opportunity to visit the Shelter for our Great North Run Coffee Morning for refreshments and treats as a thanks from us, where you will get to chat with our team and meet some of the wonderful animals in our care
- Snacks and refreshments in our tent in the Charity Village at the end of the run to celebrate
*Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable once you have accepted your place in the run.

Your token and Information Pack will be emailed to you within due course after paying your registration fee, please bear with us. If you make your purchase on a weekend, you won’t hear from us until the next week.
