Tortellini requires an adult-only home and is looking for a home where he will have outdoor access.
Tortellini has been very nervous since arriving here at the shelter.
He spends most of his time hiding away, or up high on his door and previously used to avoid interacting with our staff.
However, recently he has begun to gain some more confidence and will eat if we sit by him, although he can still become easily spooked and dart away if unsure. He loves his food, and lots of treats have definitely been the way to his heart and helped him to let his guard down!
He is now starting to make great progress and has even climbed onto the knee of one member of staff who he is beginning to really trust – purring away and rubbing into her for more attention!
He will need a calm and quiet home with a patient family who can encourage him to continue developing his confidence – whilst going at a pace he is comfortable with. We have started to see glimpses of the true, sweet, loving and affectionate young lad he is and we are sure he will only continue to make more and more positive progress in the stability of a loving forever home.
