Kiki could live with children aged 13+. She is looking to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or other small animals, although we have no history of her behaviour around such animals.
Kiki is a wonderful girl who has had a poor start to life. We don’t know too much about the life she had before she arrived into our care, but we know it hasn’t been a pleasant one.
Despite what she’s been through, Kiki quicky made friends with our staff and has been a wonderful, sweet girl. She was also pregnant when she arrived here at the shelter and has since had 7 happy, healthy puppies (who are currently in the process of being rehomed).
This lovely, clever lady loves her treats and using enrichment. She is also a playful girl who enjoys playing with most toys!
Kiki can be a little tense and uncomfortable around other dogs, so she would benefit from a home who can be understanding of this and gradually and carefully continue her socialisation around other dogs, at a pace she is comfortable with. She can also be strong and pull on the lead, so this is something that will need further work in the home.
Kiki has been a joy to have in our care and after all she has been through, it is now about time she found her very own forever home, to be loved, spoilt rotten and shown the life she should’ve always had. This beautiful girl so deserves her happy ever after, full of toys, treats and adventures. We know she will make a wonderful addition to her forever family – we cannot wait to see her living her best life, with her days of mistreatment far behind her.
