Zelda is looking for an adult-only home. She would like to be the only dog in the home. She could potentially live with cats or small animals – although we have no history of her behaviour around such animals.

Zelda is a lovely, sweet young girl who can be a little nervous initially.

She struggled with the shelter environment when she first arrived and would hide away and bark at anyone she was unsure of. However, now that she has settled in – her confidence has slowly started to grow.

We would imagine she will remain a shy girl and may always be a little unsure of strangers / take a little while to settle into her new home. However, with a little time and patience – she is an energetic, fun and playful girl who loves to spend time with her humans!

Zelda can be vocal and uncomfortable around other dogs, so will need owners who are confident in managing this behaviour and can carefully and slowly continue her socialisation. She can also be strong on the lead, so will need owners who are physically capable of managing her. Ideally, her new family would be experienced with nervous dogs, to be able to help her truly relax and become the best version of herself – whilst going at a pace she is comfortable with and without putting any pressure on her.

We have no doubt that Zelda will require some time, work and patience – but we have no doubt that she will make a brilliant, loving and rewarding addition to her forever family.
